FAQs
How do I layer the Brightening Serum and Oil Control Serum?
Use the Brightening Serum every morning and the Oil Control Serum at night, 3–4 times a week to start. Always follow with a moisturiser, and use sunscreen during the day.
What's the difference between the two serums?
The Oil Control Serum (Niacinamide + Liposomal Salicylic Acid) helps control excess oil and clear pores. The Brightening Serum (10% Niacinamide + Alpha Arbutin) helps fade marks and even out skin tone. Together, they help clear and brighten the skin.
Will this duo dry out my skin?
No. Both formulas contain hydrating and soothing ingredients such as Hyaluronic Acid, Green Tea, and Licorice Extract to help keep skin balanced and comfortable.
Is it suitable for acne-prone skin?
Yes. This duo is designed for oily and acne-prone skin to help reduce breakouts, refine the appearance of pores, and fade post-acne marks.
Can beginners use 10% Niacinamide?
Yes. Start with a patch test and introduce it gradually into your routine. Niacinamide at 10% is generally well tolerated by most skin types.
How often should I use the Oil Control Serum?
Begin with 3–4 nights per week. Daily use from the start may cause dryness or peeling, especially for sensitive skin.
When will I see results?
Oil control and smoother-looking skin may be noticeable within 1–2 weeks. Brightening and fading of marks typically take 4–8 weeks with consistent use.
Is it safe during pregnancy?
Because the Oil Control Serum contains Salicylic Acid (a BHA), consult your doctor before using it during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
Do I need sunscreen with this routine?
Yes. Daily sunscreen use is essential, especially when using brightening actives, to protect your skin and help prevent further pigmentation.
