Why does acne occur?

Acne on skin is formed by the entrapment of dead cells & oils in the hair follicles and further inflamed due to bacteria 💫

☀️ Reasons for acne:
– Excess sebum (oil) production
– Clogged pores
– Bacterial infections
– Hormones
– Diet, pollution & lifestyle
– Genetics

💥 How does acne feel/look like?
– Non inflammatory: non reacted with bacteria: blackheads, whiteheads, bumps
– Inflammatory: reacted with bacteria: pimples/pustules/papules

💫 Why does dry skin get acne?
If the skin is too dry/ isn’t provided with external moisture, the body releases excess sebum to compensate and this causes acne

🌟 Why does normal skin get acne?
If the skin is exposed to extra external humidity either through environmental changes/ wrong product usage, these extra oils cause acne in the skin

💧 A quick trivia: Hence using the right moisturiser is the first step to reduce oil production in the skin & thus to combat acne!
