Why is this different?
The NMF is a mixture of amino acids and other derivatives. It is an essential part of the skin as it maintains adequate hydration in the stratum corneum (uppermost layer of skin) by working as a humectant mixture and providing integrity to the skin barrier. The amount of NMF in the Stratum corneum determines how much water it can hold at a particular humidity level.
The skin also consists of a lipid matrix that protects the skin and seals in the water to prevent water loss and retains moisture within the skin. The added emollients and occlusives in the formula behaves like the lipid matrix and seals in moisture without clogging pores.
How Does it Work on the Skin?
- 3% NMF complex mimics the NMF of the skin.
NMF complex is a unique combination of amino acids and derivatives such as Serine, Alanine, Glycine, Glutamic Acid, Lysine HCl, Threonine, Arginine, Proline, Sodium PCA,Sodium Lactate, PCA, that together replicate the Natural Moisturizing factor of the skin and replenishes the skin barrier.
- A blend of emollients, occlusives and soothing ingredients retain the moisture within the skin, prevent transepidermal water loss (TEWL) and soothe skin
How to use?
- Use a pea size amount of nmf skin cream, gently massage until the product is absorbed into the skin.
- Can be used twice a day, both morning and night.
- Use with Deconstruct Hydrating serum for best hydrating results.

I asked team deconstruct to help me choose a moisturiser as the options were limited and none seemed like for an oily, acne prone skin and they recommend the hydrating moisture for me and this summer I finished my first tube. It didn’t break my skin out like most moisturisers do and was non greasy and quick absorbent. Though I don’t know if it’ll be a good enough moisture for the winter.
Loved a lot best moisturizer 😍
This is one of the best moisturisers for summers. Dry skin ppl can use it in the mornings. Oily skin ppl can use it in the morning/night. This is very light weight on the skin and NMF as a component is very good for your skin. Do try it. I will definitely repurchase this.
